Job Point

Visitors to Job Point will find bulletin boards with job listings. Employers use Job Point to publish openings that they want to fill immediately so they can reach a maximum number of motivated jobseekers.

Whether you are unemployed or are simply seeking a new challenge, Job Point has positions to match your skills and interests. You can also use Job Point’s facilities to type application letters, do research on the internet, fill out applications online and make phone calls to prospective employers.

Why do jobseekers like Job Point so much?

  • It gives them a quick overview of job openings in the region.
  • They do not need to register and there is no red tape – Job Point is a one-stop shop accessible to anyone.
  • Jobseekers can apply for jobs right then and there (there are phones, job listings and PCs where you can write cover letters).
  • The convenient opening hours (Mon. to Fri. from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sat. from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) are the same as those of the surrounding shops so you can stop by while you are out doing your shopping.
  • All of Job Point’s services are free of charge.

Job Point is modelled after the hugely successful Jobbutikken that sprang up in Denmark in the 1990s.
