“Diversity feels good. Youth for diversity, tolerance and democracy”
 

The objective of the programme is to raise awareness of shared basic values and cultural diversity, to promote respect for human dignity and to fight any form of extremism, in particular right-wing extremism.

The federal programme started on 1 January 2007.

With its three pillars

1. development and funding of integrated local strategies (Local Action Plans)
2. funding of pilot projects
3. management, communication, evaluation, and research

“Diversity feels good.” is a preventive educational programme which is designed to have a long- lasting impact.

Each year, the Federal Government allocates 19 million euros to support the programme.
